Face The Play

It's important that you always face the play, have one eye on your responsibilities and one eye on what's happening with the ball. Many an embarrassing goal has been scored with a back turned. The ball can't score itself, only if you are aware of its position can you impact the play. It's a good habit to face the ball continuously. This doesn't mean your body has to face it 100% of the time, but your must be aware of its position, and vector (the direction in which it is travelling) at all times.

Even taking a single play off gives your opponent to orient properly, in the wrong game situation this can be deadly.
