Position Group - Strikers/Forwards

The anatomy of striker is ice-cool, assassin accurate with the attitude of a pick pocket.

Strikers do well when luring and coercing the defense to go one way, and then cutting back across it and then going the other way.

Strikers should be straight line fast, be able to accelerate, and should be agile, able to switch directions effortlessly, that is their body weight and muscle-to-weight ratio lends itself to agility.

Strikers should be able to shoot: They should know the different between a wise shot and an unwise one. They should know where to shoot, technically which shot to apply, how to apply it, and be able to do so calmly with ice in their veins. They should also instinctively follow up shots, coach doesn't like you watching your own handiwork.
